2026 Student Press Corps Inauguration Ceremony

Incheon National University (President: In-jae Lee) held the inauguration ceremony for the Incheon National University Student Press Corps, which will lead the university’s student media activities, on April 28.

The Student Press Corps consists of 55 student reporters affiliated with the university newspaper, English-language newspaper, educational broadcasting station, and campus magazine editorial committee. The student journalists will deliver news from both inside and outside the university through various media platforms including newspapers, broadcasting, and online news content.

Byung-jo Choi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated, “I hope you will become a valuable bridge that closely observes university news, vividly records students’ lives, captures social trends and changes of the times, and connects the thoughts and stories of diverse members of our community.”

Young-su Lee, Dean of Student and Career Services, encouraged the students by saying, “I hope you will actively respond to the rapidly changing media environment and contribute to the formation of public opinion within the university community and to the university’s development through passionate reporting, coverage, and video production.”

The event was attended by Professor Young-jin Kim, faculty advisor for the university newspaper and campus magazine editorial committee; Professor Shin-hwa Jeon, faculty advisor for the English-language newspaper; Professor Tae-min Kim, faculty advisor for the educational broadcasting station; as well as all 55 student reporters, marking the energetic beginning of Incheon National University’s student media organizations.
