INU University Job Plus Center Successfully Concludes “Current Professional Mentor Job Bootcamp”
The University Job Plus Center at Incheon National University (Director: Young-su Lee) announced that it successfully completed the “2026 First Half Current Professional Mentor Job Bootcamp” after operating the program for approximately one month, with a total of 488 enrolled students participating.
The program was organized as part of the University Job Plus Center initiative supported by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It was designed to strengthen students’ practical job preparation skills and deepen their understanding of specific job roles, thereby supporting career planning and improving employment competitiveness.
The Job Bootcamp was divided into science and engineering tracks and humanities and social sciences tracks, operating a total of 28 courses. Thirty working professionals from diverse industries—including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Biologics, CJ Logistics, and LG Electronics—participated as mentors, providing practice-oriented training based on real industry experience.
In particular, the program consisted of step-by-step training sessions including job lectures by current professionals, assignment performance and coaching, presentation of results, and feedback sessions. Through these activities, participating students were able to improve both their job understanding and problem-solving skills by working on assignments similar to those encountered in actual workplaces.
The program recorded a remarkably high average satisfaction score of 4.92 out of 5, with several courses achieving a 100% satisfaction rate, demonstrating both the effectiveness of the program and the participants’ strong positive response.
Participating students commented, “The lectures based on real work cases and experiences from current professionals helped us concretely understand job roles that had previously felt vague,” adding, “It was extremely helpful in identifying the competencies required for each position and in establishing our job preparation plans.”
A representative from the INU University Job Plus Center stated, “We will continue to expand practical, field-oriented programs to actively support students in career planning and strengthening their employment capabilities.”
